The TRIM Apron
The TRIM Apron is TANCHEN Studio’s first exploration into apparel. Constructed from linen and hand-coloured with natural dyes, each piece’s width is determined by the traditional backstrap looms on which they are woven. Fitted with two roomy pockets for you to slip your most essential utensils into, the TRIM Apron is made for paintbrushes, makeup brushes, or basting brushes. But look! Its hem also drips with glass-beaded tassels that shimmy and shake, creating your own silent disco as you walk on the street or work in the studio. With a touch of utility and a lot more frivolity, the TRIM Apron is both a skirt and a peplum, somewhere between clothing and accessory, and meant to be worn and styled with anything.
